I am not going to say Pickens, because he could have gone Pro Last Year. Came back anyway.
Not really; they were missing their best player on offense and defense. Give them some credit. They threw two pick sixes and still won. That says enough. We were missing key firepower on both sides. No question we likely win easily if we had our full team.
The people they had left were better than the people we had left. That was Notre Dame over there. They drink from a better trough than we do.Not really; they were missing their best player on offense and defense. Give them some credit. They threw two pick sixes and still won. That says enough.
And shouldn’t understand. They have it right. It’s their life over a meaningless bowl.Your venting will go unheeded. The people you're talking about don't understand and don't want to understand.
Because college is a means to an end. Always has been. The nfl requires 3 years, that is always the end goal. Nothing more nothing less.I will never understand how you can go through all they go through then not play in a bowl game. That’s all.
We were missing more overall. Not really; they were missing their best player on offense and defense. Give them some credit. They threw two pick sixes and still won. That says enough.
"Their LIFE"? If it were their LIFE, no one would play. And shouldn’t understand. They have it right. It’s their life over a meaningless bowl.
Disagree. If they had Mayer and Foskey it wouldn’t have been close. We were missing more overall.
I don't see Bowls as Meaningless. They give players an opportunity to see what they can do performance wise. Opportunities to reward players who have been Loyal, and worked hard Preseason, and Regular Season. And shouldn’t understand. They have it right. It’s their life over a meaningless bowl.
Not for the majority. Like the commercial says,"Most Student Athletes aren't majoring in Sports. There Profession will be in something else."Because college is a means to an end. Always has been. The nfl requires 3 years, that is always the end goal. Nothing more nothing less.
Wrong. They do not have it right and never will. It exposes them for who they really are in life. QUITTERS. That shows no heart, no integrity, no morals, and no character. No amount of your word salads will ever change that. And shouldn’t understand. They have it right. It’s their life over a meaningless bowl.
Wrong again. The "end" is an education, not the NFL. Again, no amount of your word salads or excuse making will change truth. In fact you're wrong twice - the NFL does *NOT* require a college education at all actually. More truth. You can be a 27 year old truck driver and try out for an NFL team and actually make the team..... no college required. True story.Because college is a means to an end. Always has been. The nfl requires 3 years, that is always the end goal. Nothing more nothing less.
Yes their life, meaning their career. Life changing money. So yes it’s their life. I don’t not mean life as in life and death. Maybe you prefer livelihood."Their LIFE"? If it were their LIFE, no one would play.
Well the people who will be paying them in their next job disagree with you.Wrong. They do not have it right and never will. It exposes them for who they really are in life. QUITTERS. That shows no heart, no integrity, no morals, and no character. No amount of your word salads will ever change that.
Exhibit A of the problem. It's no more meaningless than any other game we played this year. It's only made meaningless now that players skip bowl games. And shouldn’t understand. They have it right. It’s their life over a meaningless bowl.
That’s your opinion. Most of the kids don’t care about that education hence never graduating and leaving after year 3. You’re crazy if you think they are there because they want a degree. That’s what you want to believe it’s about.Wrong again. True story.
We can agree to disagree on that.Exhibit A of the problem. It's no more meaningless than any other game we played this year. It's only made meaningless now that players skip bowl games.
I said they required 3 years. I didn’t say **** about school being required. Good luck getting in the nfl sitting out so yes by default it’s required.Wrong again. True story.
And those people will be hiring quitters with no heart, integrity, morals, or character. That's not a good way to build a winning *TEAM* / You can argue all day and you're going to be wrong all day.Well the people who will be paying them in their next job disagree with you.
If that were the case they wouldn’t rush to draft them and give them millions. They would lose stock by sitting out. The NFL doesn’t see it your way keep trying. And those people will be hiring quitters with no heart, integrity, morals, or character. That's not a good way to build a winning *TEAM* / You can argue all day and you're going to be wrong all day.
If you mean "career", then say it to start with. But I'll tell you this, if I thought like you thought, I would never watch any football that wasn't professional football.Yes their life, meaning their career. Life changing money. So yes it’s their life. I don’t not mean life as in life and death. Maybe you prefer livelihood.
Actually you said > "Because college is a means to an end. Always has been. The nfl requires 3 years...."I said they required 3 years. I didn’t say **** about school being required. Good luck getting in the nfl sitting out so yes by default it’s required.
Why is it always the fault of the players transferring? If you lose your best employees at work because they’re not paid enough, or not respected, or not appreciated, is it their fault or the manager’s? Maybe we should focus more on how to keep players like Bell on the team. If FSU is paying more NIL and recruiting our players, then we should too or stop complaining. If we didn’t use Bell enough and he wasn’t happy, why is that his fault? We should focus more on why players we need are transferring and less on complaining about them leaving.
I don't have to try. I'm right and you're wrong. It's that simple. You draft a team full of quitters and you're not going to win. This is not complicated. If that were the case they wouldn’t rush to draft them and give them millions. They would lose stock by sitting out. The NFL doesn’t see it your way keep trying.
The best player that wasn’t in the game was ND TE Mayer. That guy is great and everyone would’ve been impressed if he played, but he’s a first-rounder so I can see him opting out.I think we’d all probably agree that we likely win this game if we had our full team. Not even sure that’s debatable: Given that reality, I don’t see how fans can continued to support the opt outs and transfers.
You spelled "quitting" wrong. The best player that wasn’t in the game was ND TE Mayer. That guy is great and everyone would’ve been impressed if he played, but he’s a first-rounder so I can see him opting out.
Excuses are for losers. The answer is simple and doesn't take much time to figure out. It starts and ends in the recruiting process. Their character. Are they quitters or not? Really simple stuff here. I shouldn't have to say this next part but some of our fans need things drawn out for them in crayon so..... if they are quitters, don't recruit them in the first place. Do your homework, background checks, etc..... it's really not hard to research and come to a conclusion about character.
Easy. Taking it a little far aren't you? They made a decision that was best for them and their families. I don't like it but I respect it.Wrong. They do not have it right and never will. It exposes them for who they really are in life. QUITTERS. That shows no heart, no integrity, no morals, and no character. No amount of your word salads will ever change that.
It's simply an excuse for these posters.I can’t wait until all these “I hate you opt outers” threads are finally over with. When’s it gonna be, mid-Feb?
No one here is gonna change anyone’s mind on any matter, whether it be against opt-outers or the understanding of opt outers. So the cliche thread just gets annoying.
Oh and according to Dakereon Joyner they did not let their teammates down.
Exactly. "I'm sitting out because......"Excuses are for losers.
"I'm blaming the loss on the quitters...". Blah, blah, blah.Exactly. "I'm sitting out because......"
Please switch your allegiance to a different team. One from a blue state."I'm blaming the loss on the quitters...". Blah, blah, blah.
He's wrong. Quitters never help their teammates. Basic reality some refuse to see.I can’t wait until all these “I hate you opt outers” threads are finally over with. When’s it gonna be, mid-Feb?
