Must have had over 20 minutes of riding time and some pretty brutal mat returns. Complete domination. Brands will wake up this morning wondering if it’s time because it ain’t happening as the Iowa program continues to slide.
In Caels first season, Iowa won 29-6 in Carver. It’s come full circle now and PSU sees Iowa getting very small in their rear view mirror as the gap between these programs is huge.
Ohio State and Nebraska are young and gaining experience. Iowa could be looking up at 2 to 3 programs
Front part of the line-up looked great for this time of year. Clearly the staff took their foot off the gas a tad. LH and BB were fantastic and cemented #1. Folks have been worried regarding their lack of energy........... enough of this talk. AN continues to build confidence on his feet and the two young pups learned some good lessons. They will get better at creating opportunities.
MM won't be challenged in the BT, sorry Dean Hamiti. I suspect the staff is keeping the pressure on MM given who he has to wrestle.

It isn't hard to see BB, LH, MM, CS, AB and GK in the finals. It would have been nice to add SVN, but alas, that will have to wait.

This is exactly what Tom Brand’s does not do. It’s just a fact that he never changes his coaching style and other programs are going ahead of them.
Gotta get Carter back for his final season. Could be the first 5 time National Champion. Plus help us break the NCAA scoring record. Need Kirk as well. Only in college one time in life so enjoy it.

Penn State would probably beat them by a similar score depending on bonus.
He is an absolute hammer and a true joy to watch. He is wiry and looks 10 lbs lighter than everyone he wrestles but is definitely on a higher plane than all others. Such great dudes on this team and Mitchell is one of the most likeable guys. Big fanboy here
Saw that some Iowa fans are starting to feel that Real Woods has been remolded from an aggressive wrestler into the usual plodding, unimaginative Iowa model. They tend to blame Brands bros.
Agree.....both wrestled strong and i didn't see any "starstruck" emotion nor hesitancy in their wrestling @ Hawkeye-Carver .
Honestly the Iowa fans were quite subdued...Lots of cheering in the TWO matches they won....but mostly silence in the other 8!
Some think I0wa could lure Cael or Casey back to Iowa.
