I agree. I think he is committed to doing the right thing as he sees it. That's good enough for me. I'm not a D1 coach. My experience is limited to playing hs and small college and coaching in high school. After saying all that, it didn't seem like the right thing to me and I think I'm about as big a CJF supporter as there is.
I've been around the game a few years. I've had scores run up on me and been accused of the same. Playing hard and rushing to LOS to throw a TD pass with 2 seconds on the clock are not one in the same thing. As I stated, it isn't high school and I doubt anyone's emotional well being has been impacted. Those things have a way of coming back to haunt you. Remember the lineman scoring on PSU a few years back? PSU fans were outraged.
I'll bet MSU fans thought, if you don't like it stop it. Its not a big deal, just my opinion.
And MSU fans were pissed at Franklin when he threw late against them when we were up big. I’m not a big fan of what he did yesterday either, but I saw a few teams run it up on us when we were crippled with sanctions, so I’m not all that upset about it.

I'm glad you finally didn't have JF's back on something, that was some BS at the end any way you slice it.
Of course they have a right to play, Bowden said that yrs ago when he was given hell about running up the score, he said my 3's and 4's deserve a chance to play, I'm not going to tell them to fall down, difference was back in the day you ran the ball, you weren't throwing and trying to run up the score.
Nope. Not upset at all. He explained his reasoning and he's the coach. Like most here, I have an opinion. Unlike most, I admit that Coach Franklin knows what's best.
Then tell MD to sub out their starters and wave the white flag. Then he should tell his guys to stop throwing it.
