Well, we will see if a mobile QB will fare any better behind that line. I hope so.

He may do better, but I think he'll be a lot easier for opposing teams to defend considering what we have experienced from our offensive line. He might be able to move the ball to start with. He may even move the ball really well to start with. But I still think we would be better off if we could figure out how to use both quarterbacks more effectively than we have.

If this is true, we only have one more game we can win, unless our running backs take over.
I'm not sure I would go THAT far, yet. We really don't know what Wright can do throwing the ball. Now we know what the coaches obviously think of his throwing ability. Hopefully they are wrong. I'm reaching here my friend....I get that.

That's not good. 1) he's our best qb and it not good when anyone is injured but especially your starting QB 2) does it buy Arnett sympathy when we finish 4-8?

If he can’t pass accurately/bad play calling, teams Will just stack the box every down.

It’s not going to end well, boys. We all know that. Yet all of us are somehow hoping that Saturday afternoon we are all talking about how amazing Wright was after we beat Arkansas.

I don’t think the outcome of this game would differ much with Will or Wright, Arkansas is going to play well at home and we havent looked organized all year.
I agree, but the powers that control who coaches at State will use injuries as an excuse for one more year. USM is our last chance for a win based on what I've seen from this coaching staff.

Yea, it seems like a new narrative spin comes out every week. I don’t see the reasoning behind not wanting to make a change, but there seeme to be some resistance.

this "news" causes no movement in line at vegas casinos....it appears the oddsmakers were aware Will was out.

The only person that worries me about Arkansas is that Defensive End Bama could not block. I think his last name was Jackson. At least we have a QB that might be able to run out of trouble.

Yeah

Yep, the old (best whiney voice) "He had injuries to deal with so let's give him another year."

Except we started showing no offense nor ability to create it in the LSU game week 3, way before Woody and Will were injured.

Edited to say it was actually game 2 when we saw the first hint of offensive suckage. AZ (4-3 on the year) out gained us by 125 total yds

In that case looks like 4 and 8 is a lock. And now we are stealing unrated juco guys from McNeese State. Unrated. We have certainly pi$$Ed away any momentum we may have accumulated. Hopefully Selmon is paying attention to the dumpster fire we have become.

Hurt or not hurt, it’s a small miracle that he hasn’t been hurt already. Was really hoping he would work hard in the offseason on his mobility and speed. Running sprints sucks, no doubt, but you’ve got to put in the work to be something great.

Will told my helper the Monday after the injury he would be out 4-6 weeks. I saw the text, myself.
I’m sure Lane Train’s son was the first to know. We can’t be letting Will fall victim to giving away his jersey, armbands, bracelets, face paint, sweat rag, etc etc to rebels, only to watch it get burned on the social platforms later on. That might mean telling him to pipe down and STOP IT
