Does anyone know why they report NJ and MD games as "Statewide Pennsylvania High School Football Scores"?
Can you portal into your current school?Who can SC portal in next year to keep the tradition going?

Oh! Looks like they may have to expand their 600 mile district footprint! They have three losses this season so this is a down/rebuilding year by their standards.
Because half of the kids playing at Southern Columbia grew up in NJ and MD?Does anyone know why they report NJ and MD games as "Statewide Pennsylvania High School Football Scores"?
How good is Garnett Valley? They had to have beaten some very good SE PA teams to get to this point. We know SJP has players as usual. What is GV's strength?Next week's schedule for the semi-finals:

Good to see an NEPA team stand tough against a PCL team. How good was Bonner supposed to have been? Do they recruit as much as the other PCL programs? My son plays for Crestwood and it was exciting seeing them beat Bonner in Philly. Furthest they’ve ever gone. Now it’s McDevitt. Don’t expect much but anyone have a preview of any players we recruited? They seem to be headed to defending their AAAA title but I hope we give them a game.
From what I hear they have a pretty wide recruiting radius but I don’t know specifics. They had a couple studs that were carrying them. Just thrilled to be in the final four. Basically playing with house money against McDevitt.Good to see an NEPA team stand tough against a PCL team. How good was Bonner supposed to have been? Watching the Eagle game last night reminded me why I hate that St Joe's Prep is permitted to participate in the PIAA. Jon Runyon Jr, a guard for the Packers now, played at St Joe's Prep and was PA Player of the Year his senior year at St. Joe's Prep. He lived in NJ at the time as his dad, a former Eagle Offensive tackle, was a US Congressman in NJ. I know I know, I am beating the dead horse but I dislike it. Kudos to the teams that don't recruit by offer scholarships and win. Some scores from earlier today:
Crestwood 21, Bonner-Prendie 14
Harrisburg 44, Manheim Township 6
Imhotep Charter School 55, Whitehall 7
Neumann-Goretti 38, Northwestern Lehigh 6
St. Joseph’s Prep 52, Parkland 21
Steelton-Highspire 42, Northern Lehigh 35
Westinghouse 34, Farrell 6
Yep, fantastic job by Jordan. If you live in the Harrisburg area, it is a great year for high school football. Harrisburg High, Steel-Hi, McDevitt and Trinity, all still alive.PSU great from Steel-High (and former Super Bowl champs Seattle Seahawks DT) Jordan Hill is the HC at Trinity HS in Camp Hill, PA. They are in the AA Semis vs. Southern Columbia this coming weekend. Trinity does not have much history of success in football, and Jordan has built them up quickly in his 2 seasons as HC.
Southern Columbia will be quite the test, of course, but for Trinity to get to the AA State Final Four, well, Hill should get some Coach of the Year consideration, imo.
Great to see yet another of our own bring success to programs they lead, continuing the great PSU legacy of doing great things in their chosen fields after their playing days are done.
All of the McD high end talent has have lived up to their billing. At WR, Rico Scott and Teshawn Russell each have around 50+ catches and 1000 yards. Russell is a senior and is uncommitted., he visited PSU a few weeks ago but does not have a PSU offer. Scott is a junior with a lot of nice offers. Marquese Williams is their RB, he has around 1100 yards and is committed to Minnesota. The QB is a SO, has a Michigan offer but not PSU, I think his TD:Int ratio is something ridiculous, like 50:1. They also have two very good two way linemen, one is committed to VT and the other to James Madison. My son plays for Crestwood and it was exciting seeing them beat Bonner in Philly. Furthest they’ve ever gone. Now it’s McDevitt. Don’t expect much but anyone have any idea of any of their players PSU recruited? They seem to be headed to defending their AAAA title but I hope we give them a game. @RyanSnyder
Stop with the Bonner recruiting .Thats a joke. Prep and laSalle ok yes but not very much anywhere else in the PCL. The Inter Ac league gets most of the good ones around Philly.Good to see an NEPA team stand tough against a PCL team. How good was Bonner supposed to have been? McD and Trinity ,not mentioned in recruiting . That is so over exaggerated for almost all Catholic schoolsYep, fantastic job by Jordan. If you live in the Harrisburg area, it is a great year for high school football. Harrisburg High, Steel-Hi, McDevitt and Trinity, all still alive.
Bonner is pretty small, isn't it? Didn't they merge with Prendergast just to stay afloat? I bet Upper Darby has about as many students in a single grade as Bonner Prendie has in the entire school. When I graduated high school (1978), Cardinal O'Hara was a power and had a large enrollment. They graduated over 1,000 seniors in 1978. Are they still a strong program in the PCL?Stop with the Bonner recruiting .Thats a joke. Prep and laSalle ok yes but not very much anywhere else in the PCL. Same with Joe Reid. Played for the Prep, lived in New Jersey. Seth Lundy went to Roman Catholic, lived in New JerseyWatching the Eagle game last night reminded me why I hate that St Joe's Prep is permitted to participate in the PIAA. Amen brother. The public schools "recruit" also. Given the disparity in post-COVID test scores of public schools vs. private schools, recruiting is going to be a lot easier. Of course, said recruits have to be families that are willing and able to pay around $1,000 per month in tuition. That is the approximate rate for Trinity and McD, I would imagine more in the Phila area,McD and Trinity ,not mentioned in recruiting . That is so over exaggerated for almost all Catholic schools

AAAAAAdoesn't seem as if they games were all that competitive, with the exception of the AAA Central - Belle Vernon game, and perhaps the AAAAA Imhotep Charter - Upper Dublin game.
Congrats to the teams, coaches, schools, and fans of all schools that got that far in the playoffs.
When D12 hosts an eastern final it's always within the city limits. Not sure why it has to be this way considering there are D12 schools in the suburbs. Prep and LaSalle have been using D1 schools for home games going back years.Did anyone else see the pics of the crooked goal post at the Germantown Supersite before the Wyomissing/NG game? Out of all of the very good facilities in the area, the PIAA should be ashamed of themselves for using the Supersites in the state playoffs.
Pathetic. Not sure about yesterday, but the week before when Whitehall played there there was no PA announcer, no national anthem played.Did anyone else see the pics of the crooked goal post at the Germantown Supersite before the Wyomissing/NG game? Kyle McCord is from NJ. To be fair to western PA private schools, I’m pretty sure Juice Scruggs was from Ohio. Rumor was that the Prep helped him and his family “relocate” to Erie.Watching the Eagle game last night reminded me why I hate that St Joe's Prep is permitted to participate in the PIAA. I have always heard that about Prep. Then again, I have heard that about the public schools as well. I think this is called ineffective complaining that I am doing. I just dislike the dominance of St Joe's Prep because I know for a fact they offer scholly's to kids from NJ. They are like a junior college where they can draw kids from where ever they want.Kyle McCord is from NJ. To be fair to western PA private schools, I’m pretty sure Juice Scruggs was from Ohio.
