He racked up decent numbers with a 9 year starter at QB playing in the weakest division in all of College Football. Even Clemson sucked this year.

He might be great but certainly didn't prove it in the ACC this year.

Nebraska certainly reacted to that hire quickly. This is a crazy coach market. Very similar to portal players now. You don't have a lot of time to analyze options.

Pitt fans have been down on Whipple every year except this year. I think the QB play this year has given Whipple new life. Not many schools get a QB who starts for 4+ years. If Trace had been a starter for 4 years, he might have been in the running for a Heisman too.
