At this point in the season whether or not Harbaugh is there is not a factor.
When you type Harbaugh into the iPhone spell check changes it to “garbage”. I’d rather have him on the sidelines just to remind the world that he’s an embarrassment to Michigan.
I don't think it makes a big difference really. Which is why if suspending Harbaugh is all that is done I feel that UM is getting off easy.
I agree. Also, any advantages they obtained from their cheating and advanced scouting is already in place.
I think the B1G will hit Harbaugh while the NCAA will erase this season along with the last 2 from the record books while imposing future sanctions.
Maybe the question should be would we rather play Michigan without Franklin... just say'in.
I think it would appropriate for them to lose one or more staff positions. Seems like that is clearly within the purview of the NCAA as removing analysts as a penalty was mentioned if PSU's academic ratings dropped under a certain level. And whether or not they are able to tie this directly to Harbaugh, what seems rather evident is that he either has a) abused the roles of his staff or b) does not have control or is unable to exercise oversight of his staff.
Michigan has to win it all. They sold every ounce of their integrity to grab a trophy, rules be damned. If they lose one game they have nothing left.....no self respect, no character, nothing. Harbaugh sold the soul of the entire university for a game of football and the university president has upped the ante. Even should they win, it will be among the greastest pyrrhic victories in the history of sport.

Agree with you, Marsh. Rightly or wrongly, Penn State was punished in 2012. Michigan deserves punishment now. And Penn State fans have every right to feel that way.
