165: Facundo vs. Gaugler
First period: Facundo drives through to the edge for a takedown and 2-0 lead. Escape and takedown to 4-1. Facundo cuts to 4-2. Snaps down and in to lead 6-2. Cut and another takedown to 8-3. Cut and takedown again to 10-4. Cut to 10-5. Another Facundo takedown to 12-5 and then Gaugler escapes to 12-7.
Second period: Facundo escape and takedown makes it 15-7. Takedown clinic from there. Facundo leads 23-10 after two.
Third period: Facundo gives up a point to start the period on an escape and then gets a quick takedown to 25-12. He gets a quick takedown and wins by technical fall. Lions lead 23-3.

174: Starocci leads 11-4 after one. Locked hands makes it 12-4. Starocci escapes to 13-4. And then a quick takedown makes it 15-4. Escape and quick CS takedown make it 17-5 after two. After a long ride, Staorcci gets a late reversal and wins 19-5. PSU 27, LHU 3.
184 Brooks vs. Fegley: Quick takedown for AB and Fegley escaped and then AB gets another takedown to 4-1. Cuts and takedown to 6-2. Escape and takedown makes it 8-3 AB in the second. After a number of takedowns and cuts it is 16-5 after two. It's a 24-9 technical fall for AB in 6:31. Lions now lead 32-3.
197: Max Dean pins Morrison with a bow and arrow in 2:03. Lions now lead 38-3.
Facundo reminds me of D Taylor. Unfair to compare anyone to D Taylor but same build, same finesse and ease on the mat. Technique is tight. Kerkvliet is fast with hulk strength
A lot of guys were impressive, but it depends how good the opponent was, with our studs.
One guy stood out to me, Kerk put on 20 pounds of muscle (253), he is going to rag doll hwt's this year. He needed the extra weight for Schultz. Facundo looked impressive but his opponent looked like a tackling dummy. van Ness is going to be F*n to watch and Bartlett can now finish shots when he gets in scrambles.
Noticed that C-star seemed off, tired, even in the 2nd period, didn't seem himself, still almost got a TF. I'm spoiled.

Yeah, the only downside was 125. Lost handily. Not a good sign. But, wow, lots of action tonight.

I was looking forward to watching and doing PBP for the 1st dual of the season. Alas, unbeknownst to me until a few hours ago, my wife had previously accepted an invitation for us to another event. *&*^% As such, I will not be available to do PBP. Hopefully, one or more of you can step forward and provide this. If you do, please give the score at the end of each match, as well as the team score after each match.

125 is a perpetual problem or so it seems. I know we lost one of our wrestlers but we always seem to be one short. I sure wish we could start off with a stud there.
