These refs suck ***. Horrible stall calls called on the wrong person.
IMHO, this ref has been very QUICK on the stall calls toward our guys as compared to the Nebraska wrestlers. Finally, Cael gets off the chair and questions the call.
And then the ref called 2 more incl 2 within 3 seconds. That was as bad of an example of officiating as I have ever seen. What a shame to rob Beard like that. He had the only 2 takedowns of the match! Appallingly bad. Awful

I’m going to play devil’s advocate and take my beating. The ref was consistent about calling stalling if the guy kept his head down. Beard had an opportunity to stand when Schultz was out wide, but I think he looked at the risk and decided not to. At then end, when he had the leg in the air, you can’t just stand there with it, so I agree with that stall call. And when he walked Schultz out of bounds, you rarely see that called, but…Mike was just trying to get a restart. Ok, beat me up.
So let me get this straight, the Big Ten network gave R Lovett outstanding wrestler who beat the number 18 wrestlers but look past Aaron Brooks who beat the number six wrestler by a major. OK

I did get a chuckle from Mark Manning. He's the visiting coach at PSU, and he wears ... a white long-sleeve shirt (or something like that), and a blue fleece vest over top. If not for his rants, from appearance alone you would have thought he was a PSU fan.
He probably wanted to blend into the crowd after the loss.

The Rider dual is 2 weeks away, which is a lot of time to rest and get treatment. Hammies are somewhat tricky with rehabs, so only time will tell.
Manning is a habitual whiner and like a poor man's Tom Brands. I think it was Morgan MacIntosh match he was complaining that Morgan was intentionally trying to hurt his guy - he looked like a real a-hole then. He's just an ad nausea whiner and very irritating to me.
