have been our best overall WR the past couple of years. However, I believe that is more due to Croom's inability thus far to sign any legit HS WR more than it is the talent of our walk-ons. If Henig was still our only option, then I would have no problem with going with a walk-on. However, Carroll seems to be a pretty heady & cool, calm, collected type of QB. He doesn't have all world talent or abilities, but he seems to play smart & within his abilities for the most part. Seeing him replaced by a walk-on would mean big problems in my opinion. On top of that, we have Riddell behind Carroll who showed flashes of ability in his limited PT last year. My point is we seem to have two legitimate D1 QBs on the roster right now vs our WR where we had at most 2 or 3 legit D1 players in a position where you need many more.
