I wonder why Kessinger left?

I will say this- whoever hires Raffo might as well hire Polk because I have a feeling that Ron is waiting for Raffo to get a job so that he can be his volunteer assistant.

having Polk as your new headcoach's assistant should be an attractive proposition to a program like ASU's.

I've heard the rumors of Polk going wherever Raffo goes too. And Im not bashing Raffo, but why would he let this happen. Wasnt' his whole selling point in trying to get the State job that he would be different than Polk? If so, a move like this would make no sense whatsoever.

I say it would be a great place to start. He could get his feet wet as a head coach. I know that State has played ASU in baseball. He could get the experience he needs. He is close enough to schedule games against Memphis, Tennessee, Arkansas, LSU, that other school in the SEC from Mississippi and maybe even down the road State. If he goes WITHOUT Polk, he could build up a resume to get a job in the SEC 5 or 10 years down the road.

that were saying that were the same ones that said that "Polk has the fire back in 2001". There is no way to tell if he would have been different than Polk, aside from the games he coached when Polk was ejected, and quite frankly he wasn't all that impressive.

The fact is Raffo will bring Polk along because he is Polk's *****, and that's what Ron wants to do.
