You currently are running the generator? I was told by the HOA before I moved here that power outages are very rare in my neighborhood.
Agreed. Just little Laurens and Clinton looks like a war zone. Lots of spaghetti power lines on the ground.
Not too far, they live in Five Forks. Still no power. May not have power for several more days.
Feels that way here in Laurens, too. I'm not aware of a single place that has power. If it goes too much longer, it's going to get ugly. No grocery stores or ways to get essentials. A few places have opened their doors to allow some items to be bought with cash only.
Still no power in Mauldin. Huge trees and powerlines on the main road outside my neighborhood and they have just started to address the trees today so no telling how long of a timeline for reconstructing the powerlines.
Keep the faith. There are finally signs of life in Laurens and Clinton. Most people are still without power, but they are apparently prioritizing some areas of commerce.
My Mom and Dad live between Greenville and Travelers Restand they are saying Friday before they will get power back.

I asked because I was diagnosed with sleep apnea when I hit 261 LB. I got down to 225 and it went away along with my snoring. I moved to Greenwood when I was 24. I played football for Decatur High School in Decatur Alabama.
Thanks. My sleep apnea was rated mild or moderate. The number was in the single digit. I think it was 6. I feel sure I could do without the cpap. But, I'm used to it. So, I continue.
I spent the night in a sleep lab hooked up to multiple monitors. They said they would wake me up and put on a cpap if they detected apnea. In the morning they said I had several events but my oxygen level never went below 88% so they didn't wake me. Funny about you getting used to cpap. My brother bought one at a yard sale on a lark because he's never had apnea. Now he's addicted to it and can't sleep without it.
That's amazing about your brother. That happened to me once. We were out of town visiting family. I took my cpap with me. But I did not unpack it. I could not fall asleep. I got up around midnight when everyone else was asleep to go to the car to get it.
