I saw this today and it seemed like a great retirement trip. Traveling the US and Canada to stay near 70 degree high temps.

Odd question, but this place seems to have a lot of answers. I’m heading to Eugene, OR next week for my daughter’s track event. Anybody have any idea of the exact location where Belushi chugged the bottle of “JD”? My brother wants me to get a picture there but I can’t find it anywhere.
I think the frat house he did that has been turn down and replaced.
I understand there are markers around U of O thet mark scenes in Animal house.

Even Belushi didn’t chug JD. And as much as I like my beer, I’m no Belushi. Plus, my wife would likely be the photographer and I don’t think she’d approve. Maybe I could find Fawn Lebowitz to take the picture for me?
Your wife would likely prefer seeing you with a bottle of JD than with a cute young coed…
Trust me. I’m a hell of a lot more of a threat to a bottle of JD than I am to a young coed.
Fawn died in a freak Kiln accident.
I am pretty sure Fawn Liebowitz died in a kiln explosion so getting a picture with her may be challenging....
We’ll screw it then. Maybe I’ll just try to find a little dive bar where my wife can do some dancing. Any suggestions?
Otis Day was in the parking lot during the Thon carrying a mic stand and headed into the White Building. I said “Otis, good to see ya!” I’m sure he heard ‘my man’ so often he was driven insane.

Headed to Crested Butte CO this summer for photography, hot springs, soak up the vibe.
Planning a trip to southern Oregon coast - again photos, plus kids want to see Northwest.
Will be in Cincinnati and New Mexico multiple times this school year to see kids and visit retirement property.
Recommend White Sands, NM and Rudioso if you want to get away. Also like Asheville, NC for the same reasons - less busy but good food, scenic hikes, relatively lower tourist costs.

New Zealand. It’s worth the time and expense to go.
My wife and I are going to be in Colorado in late June. Seeing George Straight / Chris Stapleton concert, but will spend time in Estes park and a rodeo type event.
It’s number one on my bucket list, but just need to set aside the time and money…

I would recommend the Dexter Lake Club, I heard it was the place to take your dates.

I think it opens at like 8AM, and all the day laborers gather for breakfast of sausage wrapped in bread and rosé cava. All these guys in stained undershirts waving around their sausage sandwiches and drinking pink sparkling wine. It is (or was anyway) totally authentic and as unlike a tourist experience as one could want - and the sausage and cava were good, too! Last time I was in Barcelona, this place was closed, and they were renovating, so I hope it has not changed.

I've been to the town of Glenwood Springs, where Doc Holiday (not the Marshall football coach) is buried. Nice little walk. We didnt make it to the hot springs though. It was right across the road, but the bridge was out! and that made it like an hours drive to get there!! We did do a littel float trip down the Colorado river which was fun.
And it's so much newer and refreshing than the Old Zealand.
What part of New Mexico will you be in?
I second the White Sands visit. I also recommend the Sunset tour.
Was there a couple years ago and loved it. Monserrat is spectacular, including the cable car ride to the top, as is La Sagrada Familia. Did a local cooking class (Paella) after getting our own fresh ingredients at La Boqueria. hope you have a great time there.
