Signing him was a terrible decision from the start. Hope Rattler has been trying to improve. It's a little late to be signing anyone better
I really hope they commit to another year of suck and roll Rattler out there. None of these QBs are worth a top 10 pick (outside of Ward).
Manning 2026!!!! The jersey sales will pay for his salary.
Not a saints fan, but this is a good call. In order to be really good in the NFL, you have to go through some really bad years, or luck into a late round phenomenon at QB.

I wonder if they were smart enough to purchase some type of insurance on Carr for injuries. Would have been a smart move. I'm hoping they roll with Rattler but I'm betting they go for Sanders at 9. They could always grab Dart in 2nd round. Or third ?? Maybe. But they have bigger needs than a QB in my opinion. Eta: hello A A Ron Rodgers

Derek Carr is not a quarterback that any team with actual aspirations would ever sign so naturally the Saints overpaid him by a billion dollars. If he never plays for the Saints again he will just be lumped in with Jameis Winston and Andy Dalton as loser quarterbacks of the post-Brees era. I hate the tanking strategy but rolling with Rattler/Haener this year should put the Saints in the running to draft Arch in 2026.
I knew this was a bad signing when they added him to the roster, but the organization was desperate. Dennis Allen was at the bar at closing time and decided to go home with the ugly girl thinking it would fill a void. I love the Saints and pray we just decide to rebuild, we have been pushing it off for too long. It is time to suck for Manning.
Fun fact, “Suck for Manning” was every sorority’s motto during Eli’s time at ole Miss
Not sure the Saints can suck enough to get to #1 pick. I'm not sold on Sanders and it would suck if they draft Dart. Be pretty hard to cheer for him.
Oh, I am. They are right in there with the Browns, Giants and Titans as the dregs of the league. Trade a couple of good pieces on draft day for future picks and they could easily be a 3-14 type team this year. Invest early in paper bags.
I'm pretty excited about this. I'm a new Saints fan as of this year. After Jerry hired Brian 17ing Schottenheimer to follow up Fat 17 and Red Jesus, I am done. He let Dan Quinn and Kellen Moore out of the building for McCarthy's fat àss and doubled down on his stupidity by hiring one of the worst assistant coaches in football as head coach.
Anyways. I have tons of friends that are Saints fans and I figured no one could accuse me of being a bandwagon fan... But man it was going to be really hard to root for a team with Derek Carr leading the charge.
Let's tank this year and get a QB if the future next year. Who is That? Whom That? Who Dis?

Welcome aboard. Being a Saints fan isn't that much different from being a State fan.
