The only think I'm surprised about is that we're surprised we lost this game.
Fans got too sucked into the "we've run four-in-a-row" narrative that we ignored the fact that 2 of those wins were over nobody teams, one was over a UK team that was missing their starting QB and would have beaten us if he had played and the other came in a game in which our offense was mostly MIA but we got bailed out by the crowd and special teams.
One thing's for sure. If our offense goes into Nashville and puts up some good numbers against Vandy's atrocious D (which is no sure thing), we'll all-of-a-sudden be dreaming of going into Gainseville and stealing a win. Such is the life of a Gamecock fan.
