when I was a kid, the doctors used to grab your sack, have you turn your head to the left, and make you cough. Was I sexually assaulted?

(not making light of the lawsuit, I have no idea what went on in this case)

Did this happen to you, too (from the linked article)?

"Over the next three years, Wright alleged, Strauss-Gordon touched him inappropriately during treatment sessions and performed oral sex on him in the training room. During his junior year, when Wright was 17, he had multiple sexual encounters with Strauss in the training room, locker room and weight room, he told ESPN. The lawsuit also says he had sex with Strauss during several weekly team dinners at coach Harold Strauss's home."

Read most of the article, the coach's daughter was the athletic trainer at 21 years old? Did she even graduate college with a degree needed to be a trainer? How was she qualified to be the trainer other then being the coach's daughter? This school district may be is some deep kaka.

I don't know what "testies" are, but if he was grabbing your testes, then ... yes, he was sexually assaulting you, or he was just incompetent ... or maybe he was just seeing if they finally appeared. Doctors press up to feel for a hernia when you cough ... they don't grab your balls.

you are taking things way too seriously. This happened many decades ago. Back then things were different. In my small town, it was well known the local tailer would grab your sack through your pants. We all talked about it. You kind of held your breath and let his as if it was a part of him fitting your pants. Another guy who used to cut hair always dropped his comb on you lap. Again, we talked about it at school and had a good laugh. These guys were considered weirdos. And yes, men and boys showered together in school showers.

I am done with this subject.

So, then, you guys let sexual abusers roam free in your town? I'm assuming you were kids then, so it's not your fault ... but, surely, the adults knew about it if it was so widely talked about.

Michigan State, Ohio State, Michigan, Churches, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and ever decent sized company in the USA has had similar scandals.

Yes, and? It's sad, isn't it? Not sure what your point is in bringing up those other awful sex abuse situations. You're kind of all over the place.

Fixed it for you.
No need to fix anything, the statement stands. I don’t care if people are found guilty or not. Well, I do care but it’s irrelevant to my statement. If any person sexually assaults another person they should be in jail for life. Doesn’t matter if they were found guilty in a court or not.

As someone who was once falsely accused of sexual assault against a young woman, I disagree with your statement about found
guilty or not. It does matter. And it also matters if the accusation is true or not.

It is to show some great organizations got duped by sexual predators. Some, for many decades. The idea that PSU turned a blind eye to this, as you and others have suggested, is total BS. PSU was also a victim. If there is any institution that should be called out, it is the Second Mile which should have had detailed records about kids and their visits.

Joe Paterno is as much to blame as you are. I am sure, if you are old enough, you saw Jerry Sandusky on the sideline, in pictures and in a full-feature Sports Illustrated article. Why didn't YOU do something?

I played golf at his Second Mile Tournament once. I am sure it's just a matter of time before I am walking the plank.

Did you touch the balls?

Reminds me of an old joke. A guy is playing golf at the country club and ends up being late for his wife's birthday dinner. He jumps in, throwing his stuff in the car and putting his extra golf tees in the ashtray. He gets to the toll booth and reaches into his back pocket for his wallet. The booth operator motions to the golf tees and asks "What are those for?" The golfer says that they are to hold his balls. the toll booth operator then says "Man, Lexux thinks of EVERYTHING!"

My first job offer out of college was at company that required a physical exam performed by the company doctor. He performed a rectal exam and a turn your head and cough hernia exam which was customary at the time. Then he started asking questions about my sex life. I thought it was creepy but let it slide. About a year later a new employee went through the same thing and asked me if that happened to me.

When I was younger I had a scout leader who was rumored to have boundary issues.

These two were creepy and somebody should have addressed it but it's not like I was physically harmed. I think suing for money in such situations is wrong. It's just important that you get the wrong out of the job.

Nope, irrelevant to what I said. If a person sexually assaults somebody else, they should be in jail for life. If you had been rightfully accused and found not guilty, you still should have been in jail for life. The opposite is also obviously true. If somebody did not commit sexual assault, they should not be in jail.

Sheesh, read the whole post. To the point I was making, people who commit sexual assault should be in jail for life. Of course that can’t happen unless they go through a trial but my point is that the standard should be jail for life.

Wut the wut? You're making this about PSU? Good lord.

This is about a chick who apparently received favoritism in getting employment, and who then turned around and used that position to sexually assault a bunch of underage students.

That has nothing to do with PSU.

Yet, you apparently decided to make it about PSU by seemingly excusing away sexual assaults that may or may not have happened to you and others you knew. And that doesn't make any sense, at all. On any level.

And when did I suggest PSU turned a blind eye to anything? Do you have me confused with someone else?

Yikes.

You are saying guilt is irrelevant?
