You cannot blame the man for taking the cash, just like Rogan did. My post wasn't aimed at you in particular either FWIW.

to a certain extent. he's giving up 30m a year and ultimate artistic freedom to move to assuredly MORE restriction. Rogan moved to GAIN complete freedom from the Youtube nonsense. feels like a $$ grab.

Yep. Rogan and McAfee really aren't the same type of person.

Rogan has always been an "outside of the system, non-corporate" guy.

McAfee gives vibes of being that type of guy, but it's only vibes. At his core --- he IS a corporate guy.

Clay Travis, BTW, is the same personality type as McAfee. In the long run, they're both corporate grifters.

Is McAfee as obviously partisan as Travis?

Travis worked on the Al Gore Presidential campaign in 2000.

Travis basically goes with the wind and the $$$. Whatever his views today, they'll be different 10 years later.

Travis is also owed a butt-kicking at the hands of Greg Schiano.

Wouldn’t the $$$ say be as broad and inclusive as possible? Much different now than 20+ years ago.

I listen to talk radio ---- I'm familiar with both Michael Smerconish and Travis (terrestrial radio).

Smerconish is has his views, but he's also more pragmatic, nuanced and thoughtful. Travis has his views, he has less of those attributes.

I don't know for certain, but I'd guess Travis is making much more $$$$$.

That would be my guess too.

I have no dog in the fight here. I’m not a big fan of McAfee, Rogan or Travis.

Also, if anyone stopped drinking Bud Light because of this recent advertising campaign, they are probably delighted to drink real beers with some actual taste instead. Bud Light is crap and nobody with any real like of beers would have been drinking it in the first place. It’s flavored water with a side of headache.

He did what was best for him and his show. Good for him. I say that even though I am not a fan of ESPN.
