Had we won tonight that would have been huge for them. I saw NOTHING from the Confederates hoping would help them out.

Right now, they are the fifth pig trying to latch onto the fourth tit. SEC as it stands now will only get four in. It could change. They have weak schedule with loss to KY.

It doesn't mean anything, but they're ranked #10 in the new AP poll and Georgia is #11. I'd not be surprised to see them in the top 12 when the playoff poll comes out Tuesday. And their final two games are almost certain wins.

You are under estimating that total dominations effect on the committee. The Rebs will be around 13 or 14 with 2 easy wins left. Teams in front of them have losable games ahead. The path to Top 11, where they have to rise, will open up like skies for Iranians when they attacked Pearl Harbor!

Florida is down to a third-string red-shirt freshman quarterback, who transferred from an Ivy League football program. Ole Miss will win that one.

Then they play us, at their place. We got this great run defense and those corner backs. Lord, help us. The boys from the North are in the playoffs.

The SEC logjam of 10-2 teams will be a problem for them, but if UGA beats Tennessee, I think OM gets the 4th SEC spot. Hell, if UT beats UGA, I think paradoxically, that helps OM too. Plus there will be teams in front of OM that lose.

Like it or not, they’re sitting pretty to grab a spot somewhere between 9 and 11.

Yep, unless they spent all their energy on Georgia and somehow lose to Billy.

All depends on where Lanes head is at, and that depends on where the power brokers at Florida go.

Nobody can say with a straight face that Bubba has that program headed in any type of good direction.

The SEC will only get four as it stands now. It could change. I think the Big 10 is getting credit for playing 9 conference games. If they have five teams with two loss or less, and extra spot, they will get in. The only way as of now does the SEC gets five is if ND loses another game. There are three spots gone. One Big 12, one ACC, one ND and one G5. Leaves 8 spots. It could be worse if Miami and SMU end the season with two or less wins.

Here are the SEC Teams that can finish with two or less wins.
Bama
TX
TX a&m
Tenn
GA
Ole Miss
Missouri

Only one team the committee will take Ole Miss over.

I think the only most likely scenario for OM to get left out is if Georgia beats TN in a close game. OM would have the worst loss of all the 10-2 sec teams to KY. That would probably put OM at 5th in the pecking order with only 4 spots available.

OM wins out and they 100% get in. Bet your house, car, kids and wife (or husband) on that.

Uga wins ole miss will get a 1st round home game
Okay you blended in for awhile, but no. I do think that Ole Miss gets in, assuming they run the table. But home game? I’ll bet you all the cold chicken tenders in your hometown that doesn’t happen.
