Yep, defense has been the backbone of this program for a few years now. They're currently ranked #1 in the country in three different defensive categories. The next goal they allow will be just their 3rd surrendered this season. The other 2 goals were both scored by top-5 Wake Forest.

Hail mother-17ing-State! That defense is just smothering. Held the #1 offensive team in the country to only 1 shot on goal, and it wasn't really a dangerous shot. Outstanding job.

That was the most non State game ever. Built up all week to the biggest game in your history and instead of playing scared we came out and put it on them. 14-5 shots at one point against the “better” offensive team despite that crew acting like we were lucky Arkansas was having the worst night of their history. Maybe we are just good cuntshits.
