Awfully pessimistic view on the opportunity to witness a national title again when we were 1 play away from playing in the national title game last night. Not so sure about "pummelled" either, I agree we'd likely lose...but no matter how good OSU has been in recent years, we almost always play them tough, and often have the lead at some point in the game, so I don't think it was such a given.

You think next year is an 8 win team? Certainly we need to hear more about who is coming back, but if the over/under is set at 8.5, I can tell you I'll be piling money on the over as it stands today. Taking away the 2 years when he first arrived and sanctions were still impacting, James has won 10+ games in 6 of 9 years since. I think that deserves a little more faith.

You think next year is an 8 win team? Certainly we need to hear more about who is coming back, but if the over/under is set at 8.5, I can tell you I'll be piling money on the over as it stands today. Personally, I don't get overly concerned with NIL because there is zero chance that I'd ever give money in a "pay to play" scenario. I often go to D3 games... Love it. My mother and sister still live in Doylestown and I sometimes go to Delaware Valley University games when back in PA visiting. Refreshing to see kids giving it their all and playing for the love of the game with parents and friends in the stands

My mistake was trying to be objective when all I really needed was a good pair of glasses. Let's call the regular season 12-0 and hold the playoff predictions for later.
By the way. Michigan won a Natty in 2023, finishing 15-0. Some expected a down season this year with the coaching change and player turnover. They were generally criticized for their negativity. Michigan finished this season 8-5.

I’m pretty much there with him. At this point, who cares if you pay $20M and the other school pays $10M so you win most of the time?
