MM brought himself down. If he saw what he says he saw, he's incompetent for not having immediately dialed 911 from the locker room. If he didn't see what he says he saw, he's a liar of epic proportions whose falsehoods ruined the lives of many.
Floors me that none of the defense attorneys in any of the proceedings didn't try to shred his credibility.

Yet he still walks away with millions. Go figure.

One of the biggest problems was that the OAG had the luxury of reconstructing timelines. Dealing with an incident that allegedly occurred almost a decade before. Even MM didn't know the year or the date. LOL.....under normal circumstances, it would have been easy to trace his steps prior to entering the locker room....to put his new sneakers in his locker (at night). LOL

If he saw what was in the GJP or in his testimony, he wouldn't have needed to call.... John M or Dranov would have acted immediately.

Reportedly, the book is in the process of being shipped to retailers, so pre-orders will likely be delivered before September.

Spanier is also doing a number of appearances for the book. You can see the current schedule at the below link.

All I needed to know to be all in:

"Graham Spanier presided over one of the most exciting periods in Penn State history before facing by far its biggest challenges. His perspective from inside these events provides valuable and important insights that anyone interested in the full story should read and appreciate."

Yikes! Wow. Who out there wants to touch the eminence front of this nuclear explosion? I'm on this site to escape stuff, not be caught in it. Yikes! When one sets aside a transient local population, this is a very small county where everyone knows everyone.

I noticed a prerequisite for the book signings is an email request.

Where do you see an email request?

scroll down to the bottom of:

and you'll see:

"Request a Book Signing or Appearance"

and then you have to submit an e-mail. I think this is somewhat a matter of semantics. I deal with a lot of authors, and most of them have a web site for a book, or for themselves, where there is a Contact page, or Appearance Request page, where you e-mail them if you want a signed copy of their book, or if you want to set up an appearance by them, or if you just want to ask them a question. It's handled via the web site, so that they are not posting their e-mail address on a public web site.

Just got Spanier’s book In The Lions’ Den

Preordered it on Amazon and it arrived today. I’ve been looking forward to hearing what he couldn’t say until legal jeopardy ended.

Would LOVE to see one of the Alumni Chapters host a book signing...

I have ordered the hard copy from Amazon. Delivery is one month from now. Have read the State College Magazine article. Can say first hand the free Magazine stack at the retail counter has no demand, when customers do take one they express trepidation. In contrast the football preview was quickly gone.

The guy who hasn't talked is Curley. I wonder why?

I seem to remember that he had some health issues. I hope that's not the reason.
Tim is a good man.

He did. I last saw him/spoke with him the weekend of the Blue-White game in 2019, and he informed me that at that time he was clear of what had been ailing him, and was doing well. I haven't heard anything to indicate that this has changed, but I really haven't checked on his status, or asked about him, since the start of the pandemic.

I do recall hearing that the University had recently apologized to Spanier and admitted that he did nothing wrong. Certainly way too late in coming. This may be why they are allowing this. In any case they're still spineless a$$holes.

I heard that too. Still, I‘m surprised by what appears to be a public show of support. Maybe Neeli gets it.

Indeed they did according to Dr. Spanier. The video of him recounting the story can be viewed at this link: https://www.on3.com/boards/threads/...-with-spanier-updated-w-working-video.790986/
