So, I watched the video and if Spanier is OK with it, not much more can be said. But he is correct - no official statement from the University, nor should anyone expect one. I don't think there is a PR firm or law firm out there that can craft language for an official statement that won't be villified more than it is embraced.

Goes back to what I said in another thread - what a f*cking mess they made.

Coming from him I would take it with a grain of salt. Not saying that it couldn't have happened, but I'm skeptical.
