State did well in track in Starkville today, but did Steve Mullings run the fastest 100m in 2011?

According tomstateathletics.com , Steve Mullings ran a 9.90 100m today, which according to iaaf.org, would be the fastest time in 2011. The wind was 2.0, which is the maximum allowable to be wind legal (I looked it up). The next fastest in the race today was MSU's Garren Hendricks, who ran a 10.4. That's a huge win for Mullings.

I wonder if State's brand new track is supposed to be a fast track?

and yes,his 9.90 in Starkville in April and his 9.89 last week in Orlandoare the two fastest 100m times in theworld so far this year.

Different races, same day. Mullings was in Oregon and Tyson Gay in Florida.

I would think that Mullings would be able to run in the Olympics, especially if he can qualify at 9.9 or less. Usain Bolt's best so far this year is 9.91.
