It should become Gamecock Law forevermore that we dont get cute in the first quarter. Play straight up football and see where you stand. Without gimmicks. Good grief, show a little confidence in your teams ability to make a play without trickery when they line up. If he's hell bent on making a name for himself off what his dad used to do, do it in the 2nd half... bury that thing deep in your pocket.

To be fair, if we hit that fake fg, it's a massive swing in the game.

But even with that, I agree. Save the cutesy stuff for later in the game, if ever.

It seems like we are looking for ways to interject "Beamer ball" into games even when we don't need to.
