While funny, what a stupid thing to do.... Finding a way to not piss off the people you may need to help with policy related to your business a few years from now would be a good idea.

It's also just bitchy. He had what, a decade of notice? Nicer looking towns are going to have sign ordinances. I think maybe it's valid to argue that worrying about the sign and not burying utilities doesn't accomplish much but it's hard to argue that they don't need to do things to make Hwy 12 look better.

Regardless of how I feel about beautification ordinances, I have to tip my hat to this level of petty.

This is great marketing for them. It’s strange and funny. It catches the eye. And if it falls within the city’s ordinance, what’s the big deal? There’s no reason whatsoever for the city to be upset.

Everyone has a point in their life when they say “ no more”. If this is the hill he wants to die on, I’m proud of him. Anyone fighting for less government is admirable in my book.

A strategic Moab strike at the intersection of HWY 12 and South Jackson would do wonders for Starkville.

Hwy 12 (and University Drive/Main Street) are fine.

It's old hwy 82 that is a rundown row of absolute feces.

A friend was just chatting today about that 182 redevelopment project.

Is that still scheduled to start this year?
