Hate to say it, but coach was right. He overthrew a receiver in double coverage (I guess trying to lead him into the open field, but no way our receiver was getting to that, no matter how hard he tried... he was completely covered). Relf began to scramble from pressure and made a very poor, unaware, split second decision to try to force a pass that wasn't there. <div>
</div><div>What is pocket preference?</div>

<div>13. I love that Mullen put Farvuh in on punt return. There's your chance- not shut your leprechaun mouth.</div><div>

Favre played on special teams in both the Auburn and LSU game. He's played in every game except Memphis. Your tweet during the La Tech game was <span style="font-weight: bold;">"Is farvuh #6? he is playing on punt return"</span>. He's been on special teams all year (except suspension against Memphis). Just clarifying. Enjoyed the breakdown Coach.

they need to be able to contribute in the 2 deep immediately. Sorry, but signing a guy like Trapp who is not even sniffing playing time doesn't help anything and just takes up a roster spot that probably should have gone to a HS guy. Don't sign a JUCO if they are not going to help us. You don't sign them with a plan to redshirt them.

He was completely covered. He got greedy and tried to make a pass that wasn't there. The defender had help over the top (the one who ended up making the pick because the pass was too far in front of the receiver) but the underneath defender had already cut the route off. Relf should have never tried to force that pass.

And I'm surprised nobody has picked up on it or is talking about it. He's got something going on. He's clearly lost speed and explosiveness, and he's become a complete north/south runner at this point. He runs like his shoes are made out of concrete, and he never makes any effort to juke or shake a defender. This is why we aren't seeing more options and sprint outs into space. It's been clear to me all season, and I have no idea why nobody else has picked up on it.

We have no On-line because Hevesy sucks at recruiting. We passed on a guy from Co-Lin whom several of our coaches wanted but Hevesy wanted Trapp from Cali. The guy we passed on was Oscar Johnson who played for LaTech Saturday night and was dominate in the game. As hard as it is to credit croom, our best o-linemen the past 2 years have all been Croom guys. Mullen needs to address this. If you think the oline is bad this year, wait until next year.

in the future, anyone showing any wool growth needs to immediately shave that **** off. Good report coach, I enjoy them and learn a good bit. Now, this I do know about football. If we don't start recruiting better, Mullen is going to learn that being a "developmental program" isn't going to get himanywhere in this league.
I work with some of those old school Templeton era type Bulldogs. They'll still argue the point: "It's not all about the recruiting stars. It's about recruiting to your needs and developing players." I keep reminding them: "Oh, yeah? Tell that to Alabama, LSU, Flardida, USC, etc..."<div>
</div><div> It IS about recruiting stars and we need a big haul in the offseason in a BIG way...

I didn't watch the whole game, but I just didn't understand why MSU didn't at least try to get in FG range. With MSU's hurry up offense it seemed like something you could definitely try.

Was Relf simply that bad? Just didn't make a lot of sense to me, but I have to admit I didn't watchmost of the game.

But I thought we should at least have called timeout and kept running the ball. Ballard got 8 on 1st down.

...he was himself at Memphis, but something changed at Auburn, where I think the Auburn players were trying to hurt as many of our players as they could.

I thought the first La Tech guy he hit on the sidelines was going to have to go and clean the turds out of his pants. Ifelt sorry for him. Someone who is good at videos needs to put one together and the athletic dept needs to promote it.
