Tailgate help

Trying to plan a trip down there for my wife and me, and would like to find out about tailgate options (just for 2 people) for 10/14 Florida. Is there a strategy? Specific spots? Availability? What do I need to know?

Also need recs for restaurants for Thursday and Friday nights. Thx SEC people!

I'm from North Jersey. Have you not heard of the "Jersey breakfast death meat" wars? It's a North vs. South Jersey thing.... and if you help me out, I'll bring you some (btw, need a place to stay, as well ).

Game time has not been announced yet. The state fair will be going on then so extra traffic fun. You may be able to park at the fairgrounds but they limit tailgating (no tents or big setups) during the fair there. There are many pay options on gameday on Shop rd., Key road, and Bluff rd. but you may have to walk a bit depending on how early you get there. Gamecock village will be open prior to the game and has food and beverages along with entertainment. The gamecock walk will go through there. They will announce specific details soon after the game time is announced.
