One thing about tattoos I've noticed in recent years. I've had a few operations and had to see a lot of doctors. Nurses, seemingly every one I have to deal with in all these visits - have tattoos. I really didn't notice/pay attention to it until I had kidney surgery in July 2024. Every nurse during the entire process at the hospital had tattoos, including the operating room nurses.
The last doctor's visit I had in May (one of the Unity Point Urgent Cares in Cedar Rapids), I finally asked one of the two nurses I saw that day (both had tats) why this is.
She didn't have an answer, but she did confirm that every nurse at that location has tattoos.
