Tenn vs MissST just set back women's basketball back 20 years.....

Worst display of basketball in all facets I have seen in quite a while. The game went to double OT with MissSt winning by 1 point. However, both teams played horribly down the stretch.....turnovers, missed free throws, bad fouls and poor coaching. State missed 4 consecutive foul shots in the first OT where making even 1 would have iced the game. To make matters even worse, the refs were horrible. Oh well.....someone had to win.

Our local high school girls' basketball team won a game 101-0 the other night. And they played the bench most of the game, the clock ran the entire 2nd half and the coach made the girls pass the ball a certain number of times before taking shots.

For some reason Tennessee thinks Pat Summit is going to be walking back through that door again. I will say this if Tennessee thinks Kelly Harper is the one to bring them back to relevancy they are sorely mistaken. She is worse than the coach that she took over for at UT. Hopefully they will keep her.

Harper is almost the exact opposite of Holly Warlick. She is a good X and O coach with a feel for in game strategy. She manages the locker room fairly well, but has absolutely failed at recruiting top HS talent.

She will have to bring in 4-5 talented players through the portal to have an NCAA team next year.
