I think their path to the playoff ended when Bama lost. UT had to hope Bama won the West and won the SECC. If that happened UT could point to the fact they beat Bama and lost to Georgia because it was a home game and the rain, neither of which was true. Their true "signature win" lost a lot of luster when LSU beat Bama.IT doesn't bode well for us that UT no longer controls its own destiny regarding the playoffs. If they had beaten UGA, they would just need to beat us. Now they not only need to win their final 3 games, which they will, but they need to look impressive doing so. Look for them to pile it on in this game.
Even with two losses, LSU has a clearer path to the playoffs now than Tennessee does. However, I can't see Tennessee not whipping our @$$e$. If I'm incorrect, the house, car, wife, kids, grandkids, and car will still be there.I think their path to the playoff ended when Bama lost. UT had to hope Bama won the West and won the SECC. I totally disagree. I think had Alabama won out, it would have eliminated Tennessee whether it made that win better or not. UGA would get in over Tennessee because they dominated that game, Alabama would get in because a 1 loss SEC champ isn't being left out, and there's no way they would allow 3/4 of the playoff to be SEC. That just wouldn't happen. To me, the Alabama loss means they have a shot even with the ugly loss.I think their path to the playoff ended when Bama lost. I don't believe our corners can cover them. They only need a step or two on the defender and Hooker can put it in the spot. Unless our front plays like it did against UK. We can play against anyone then.Georgia showed us how to beat them. Man coverage and bring pressure. Hooker doesn't handle pressure well at all. If there is any pressure he looks at his first read and if it isn't there his eyes go down. We don't have Georgia's talent but we can use their scheme.
This take on Tennessee's playoff prospects is not without validity. Listen until the end; you're gonna love it.
