Hanging up football for medical reasons

My heart goes out to this young man and health ended up taking football from him. Thank you for choosing South Carolina, and thank you for trying to work through your medical issues. Even though you didn’t get on the field much in your short time here, consider yourself a gamecock forever. God bless you, and I hope whatever issues you are battling, become a distant memory one day soon.

Good luck to him, maybe he'll come back later on. Not going to lie though, the post he put on Twitter kinda irked me. He specifically called out thanks to UGA program and Kirby, but didn't say thank you to Beamer, or our team/program. He did say "thank you Gamecock Nation" at the end, but it just turned me off he would go out of his way to mention UGA and more specifically call out Kirby and nothing about our coaches/team. I'm sure it wasn't meant to sound that way, but definitely how it read to me.

He did thank Beamer for offering him another opportunity. Not exactly the shoutout UGA got, but it was there.
