The Bowl Game Countdown to 82 (7 pm update - ONE SPOT LEFT)

All the bowls are announced Dec 3rd, not sure if a loss knocks them out or if one spot gets held open longer for that game.

Would be big if one the two large underdogs Houston or Kent State could win.

I seem to remember a couple of bowl games holding spots for service academy purposes that can be filled after that game. Might be dreaming though.

It seems that a bowl might not be held for them. I've researched it , and they need 6 wins by next weekend. Bowls need to go ahead and get everything arranged. You'd have to make a team sit back and wait, while the bowls want the matchups to sell tickets, hotels, etc. From what I read from Navy they have to win today or they are done.

Not necessarily. We need the big underdogs of BYU, Wazzu, Cal, SC, and Florida all to lose. It looks like Georgia State is going to beat Old Dominion. They are up 21-7 late in the 3rd. If everything else goes chalk all we need is Northwestern to hold on beat Illinois. They are up 14-3 midway through the 2nd.

I didn’t see how they got to the 3 yard line,, but they were shotgun on the 3, and a bad snap got the QB sacked in the end zone.

Looks like we're out, unless Florida, USF, South Carolina, Cal, and Colorado State all lose. The "good" news is that only 2 of them are favorites, but it's still a long shot.

We don’t deserve nor should we go to a bowl game.
This desperate grab at trying to sneak in at 5-7 is so Miss State fans. Let’s keep a bowl streak alive, let’s go play Jax State in Bham.
