That's probably true, but all that proves is that the NCAA tournament in baseball is too big. They could go back to the 48 team format and be just fine.
In a 64 team format, us and LSU definitely are better than every team that will get left out. That doesn't mean we're good though.
Call it parity or whatever, but the SEC to me is down this year, or at least the West is. South Carolina, Florida, and Vandy are much better than the rest of the league. The West is filled with average teams. There really isn't much difference between any of the West teams. Every one of the West teams has serious flaws somewhere. Each team has some redeeming qualities, but they're all flawed.
