I also think the networks are exerting pressure to keep as much of the country (as possible) at least somewhat interested in college baseball. For that reason decisions are being influenced in the "smoke filled" (now smoke free) room by geography and conference affiliation. Never forget, in America when you see something that doesn't make sense and you can't figure it out....go back and follow the money.
