Still can't figure out why anyone thinks that firing Hutzler will help. I thought it was all about depleted talent (that Lebby absolutely contributed heavily towards)? Why is it all Hutzler's fault? Hell the defense actually played better than the offense against Tennessee, maybe they are getting better? Truthfully, probably not, as flip-flopping is what happens to badly coached teams.
If you believe it's all Hutzler's fault, that means you still have a belief in Lebby. And that's where I differ from so many of you. I'd respect Lebby more if he'd stick with his plan, rather than bowing to all the hot-takers who can't see past tomorrow. Execute your plan (that is, if you have one, which I don't believe he does).
And another thing, if Lebby can't win with guys Leach won with (which is only half true about the personnel because Lebby replaced most with his guys), then why are we hiring guys like Lebby? We need to be out finding guys who can do less with more, via scheme or whatever.
Whole damn situation is FUBAR and nobody seems to want to talk about the real issues. Just want to find band-aids. It's 17-ing futile, and it 17-ing sucks that history is repeating itself yet AGAIN. We're back to talking about the same stupid shlt to muh ImPrOvE shlt like we did in the Croom Error. All we have to do is do shlt right, rather than INTENTIONALLY TRY to be 17-ing idiots, like we did in 2004 and what we're doing in 2024. It's almost like we do shlt in 20-year increments, I mean weren't we making Emory a memory in 1984, rather than getting out and supporting a successful coach who had a dip (which happens to most all coaches), and helping to recruit? Where were the cigar boys? Oh, they wanted their boy Rockey....who is a great guy and bulldog, but not a coach.
We are a 17-ing dumb and tunnel-minded football fanbase. Period.
