Interesting. Like someone above, I wonder what the turnout was. I noticed a whole lot of apathy in Democrats I talked to. Plenty of dislike of Trump, but not much enthusiasm for Harris.

Edited to add that Sec. State had Oktibbeha at 26894 active voters as of September, so that's about 66%

Funny you say that as I've heard a lot of "mandate" language over the past week and been thinking
50/50'ish isn't my definition of a mandate. Give me closer to 90.
Yeah tongue in cheek. It definitely was a mandate to fix cost of living and immigration. Stop focusing on the margins and get back to being able to eat on your paycheck. Not sure sure it was a mandate to assemble the cabinet from Idiocracy though...

Gaetz won't make it. The WSJ says there are at least 4 and possibly as many as 30 GOP Senators who will vote no on him.

This is why Trump didn't get involved with the Senate leadership elections....he preferred Scott, but told Thune he'd stay out of it if he gives him recess appointments. It gives his picks(Gaetz) an automatic 2 years in the Cabinet without confirmation, at which time a certain governor in Florida is wrapping up his term. Enjoy.

You know, it IS possible to oppose the several idiots Trump is appointing without wanting other idiots to take their place.
Your TDS is strong. This is a competent staff, especially, when compared to the incompetent mentally ill staff of the current administration.
