I don’t think so. These grades measure how each is performing this year. If you multiplied out Shapen’s numbers they’d be very similar to Shauder Sanders. I doubt he would have maintained that pace, and SS brings a rushing threat.
Shedeur does not bring a rushing threat at all. He literally has negative career rushing yards, and negative rushing yards each year at Colorado.

It’s actually quite odd that he’s gotten as many carries as he has gotten….for as bad as he sucks at it. Almost like Daddy is just trying to force a round peg in a square hole and showcase something that isn’t there.

He has 188 carries at Colorado these past 2 years, for -88 yards. Even if you take out like 40 sacks for -200 yards (ballpark, didn’t look up the sacks), that’s still 148 actual carries or scrambles for only 112 yards. Like 0.6 ~ 0.7 ypc. That’s like Will Rogers level of inept.

You are wrong if you aknowledge how good of a season Sawyer is having. Cant have anything that is positive about Leachs time here.
Good season sure. Heisman watch list, national exposure, nfl eye opening type season…. Helllllll no.

Sorry that upsets you but SR will be on several awards watch lists next season. 6-4 220 qbr #6 in the country 24 TDs 4 INTs , he will be in a nfl training camp. 20 passing 4 rushing. Good mobility great arm.

20 not 24.

damn shame with those numbers being as great as they are… he won’t he make a all conference team.…. That qbr you speak so highly of doesn’t mean a whole lot.…when your not even in the top 50 in yards or top 20 in touchdowns... he might make a pre-season big12 all conf team. That’s about it.

I don’t know how many times this has to be repeated but here it is again… Leach died, he wasn’t ran off to another place, he wasn’t fired He died…
And no he didn’t recruit well on the OL and DL. That’s the reason we are struggling. His staff was awful at evaluating talent and due to the terrible evaluation and signing during the Covid year, miss evals in 22 and passing away before the 23 class was signed we were gutted. Add to that when all the talent that he inherited or in his defense was able to get graduated last year you are left with a roster like the one we have now. ZA and staff didn’t help matters in fact they made them worse by not even trying to recruit and one reason Selmon pulled the plug on ZA mid season. And no it wasn’t the good ol boy calling the shots on RTDB, that was ZA being meathead

So you and goat can talk all day about how leach did this or that, but neither of you or others want to admitt this current roster is full of players who are not talented enough to compete day in day out in the SEC. In fact the most valuable and talented players are the ones Lebby signed in only a few weeks on the job. And you can’t rebuild the holes left in a first years coach first class. Look at ASU this year as an example.
Lenny ran off Leach’s guys. Reese sucks too, right? Dude at Vandy seems pretty good too. As are a lot of guys he crooted.

Truth hurts.

That’s fair. I was just comparing his rushing grade to Shapen’s. Sheduer is a 64 compared to Shapen’s 50. Might have something to do with Shapen’s fumbles.

Lebby didn’t run anyone off. Layso was from Nashville area, tranfered here from MTSU.. good for him. But guess what he was a SR and signed decided to go back home

Reese is the only player left on the two deep who signed with leach staff. Idiot

I believe I've seen this same debate when Will was here
Not really a debate, Sawyer is having a hell of a year and he’s got all the tools. Have you seen him play this year ? I’ve watched some Baylor games, he’s very good.

Muh Leach can't CrOoT

PFF measures grades as a pro player, correct? I'm more worried about how they play in college, rather than how they project at the next level.
What's his defensive front 7 stats look like? Maybe qb what else did he manage to recruit? A corner back

No one is saying that. He was 19-17 in 3 seasons at MSU. That’s decent, and we seemed to be trending up. But we clearly weren’t bringing in defensive talent at a high rate. It’s not like we lost a bunch of DL, CB and Safety to the transfer portal.

Either way - he died. It’s not like we fired him through some controversial process. What is there to argue about?

The debate here was high QB rating didn't mean anything when the defense didn't perform. His defense gave up 31, 28, and 21 in 3 of their losses this season

That doesn’t even make sense, I think you are confused about something. QBR is a performance measure of the quarterback position, it has nothing to do with Baylor’s defensive play.

I know I enter into threads sometimes when the same ole grumps are ripping on Will, but I honestly don't understand why there is a segment here that enjoys arguing about former State QBs who were completely inconsequential while at State.

Damn, that was a long sentence. Sorry...

Crazy how much better MVB is as a FR compared to what Sawyer was. Imagine how good he'll be in three years. And Sawyer got to RS too. Probably be on the heisman watch list.
