My book has Paul as a heavy favorite, what am i missing? Tyson may end his life. The two minute rounds seem in Tyson's favor. If this goes long, that's the only way i see Paul having a chance.

Vegas thinks Paul will dodge him until round 6 or so?

mike is 58. I've heard all the rec money is on Tyson and the sharps are on Paul.

Ive also heard rumors of a fix. All this put on a good show for the payday.

Tyson is 58 years old. He fought his last professional fight at age 38. He literally quit during that fight, refusing to leave his corner at the beginning of the 7th round and thus forfeiting the match to an average journeyman boxer named Kevin McBride. I think it's a bit much to expect Tyson to have aged 20 years and be anything more than he was at the end of his career: a below average professional boxer.

My book, off shore, has Tyson at +225, that scares me as I was thinking an easy Tyson win.
saw where somewhere... someone laid 1 million on Paul to win.

Tyson needs a pay day and win or lose he's getting it. Him losing means nothing.. his legacy is what it is. If this is a good fight, could set up a rematch and more money.

The scenario i've read is Paul basically drags the fight out and wins late via decision. Paul KO-ing mike early puts this entire surrade to rest... Mike KO-ing paul creates a buzz, but does nothing for future business of either.

Paul is a bigger man, and 27 years old. Tyson is 58 and that **** ain't no joke. Your body just doesn't respond well.

Thing is, Tyson still is in the best shape he has been in ever. His trainer said he has never trained like this. Videos surfacing this week of Tyson training make him look legit and ready. All of it a ploy? Probably

Thing is Tyson is not your normal human, he won't lay down, his fists are like hammers and his defense is still crazy good. Paul won't be able to hit him. Tyson may never hit him to the head though... That was the agreement when he fake fought Roy Jones Jr. Jones talked about taking one hit from him in the chest and held on for dear life the rest of the fight.

Now, this fight is sanctioned and is supposed to be legit. I am interested but won't be betting.

Iron Mike is the closest thing we have to a super hero.

Yeah this is it right here. I wanna see Tyson knock the guy out because they don’t even belong in the same ring against each other, when you consider Tyson is one of the best to ever do it. But you can’t separate the fact that Tyson 20 maybe 30 years past his prime and Paul is at his prime, athletically speaking.

I bet this whole thing is scripted, and more like a wrasslin' match than a traditional boxing match. And however it ends, it will set up a rematch. After the rematch, they'll both be sitting at 1-1 which will set up a 3rd and final match for them. Both of those clowns are going to ride this thing out and pull money from it for as long as they can.

My only issue with this is, when has Tyson ever followed a script, or the rules? I could see him agreeing to a loose 'script', and agreeing all along to whatever outcome the promoters say... then getting into the fight and the voices in his head telling him he needs to kill Paul. I wouldn't ever get in the ring with that dude because what guarantee is there that he will do what he's supposed to do? Loose cannon doesn't even begin to describe Mike Tyson.

The what now?
surreptitious charades.

You know that party game we all played. When you get up to get another beer you try to get your teammate to insult his wife without him knowing. You stand behind where she's sitting on the couch. Frank is in the opposite recliner.

Frank: "Two words. No, one word. Oh, two words put together to make one word. POPTART! no....hmm POOP EMOJI!.....got it SANDY IS A CUNTSHIT!"

Sandy, leaving. "Jim, looks like Frank is staying here with you tonight."

As to the fight, it feels like Lennox Lewis will jump out from under the ring to come off the top rope.

I have no idea if a fix is in, but if you've not spent much time (or any) watching Paul box, I can confirm that he is indeed a legit boxer.

Not one who could have lasted a round with 1980's Tyson, but he's not a sideshow act.

If it is a real fight and Tyson lands a punch it could be lights out. Based on age Tyson is the clear underdog.

My feel is that Paul (27 years old) will have his way with Tyson (58 years old).

At 58, Tyson will not have enough "twitch" to adequately defend himself against Paul or effectively attack Paul.

Paul is at his absolute athletic prime at 27 and will be able to hit Tyson with solid punches almost at will.

I predict a KO by Paul in the 5th round.

However, Tyson is still built like a brick sh*thouse. Thus, if Tyson can land one of his haymakers, then we can turn out the lights . . . the party's over.

All Mike needs is one good liver shot and no one regardless of age is walking that off. But...I feel like it's Midsouth Wrasslin show put on for the money. Everything is fake these days...lol

They are using 14oz sparring gloves.. I doubt either knocks the other out. Two minute rounds.. and pillows for gloves...

It can be a real fight but under those rules, it could go the distance and Paul out point him. Paul throws a lot of girly punches with no power behind them but looks pretty to a you tube subscriber. Think Olympic judges with the Russian/Chinese judges doing crazy stupid stuff.

Both are great shape but Tyson old. If its a legit fight, Tyson still has the power to knock him out even with the sparring gloves. Paul does not possess that kind of power to hurt Tyson but Tyson could run out of gas.

This. I think the only chance Tyson has is to knock him out and I don’t see that happening with 14 oz gloves. Tyson looks in great shape but he is 58 and has had a lot of health problems. You can’t overlook that.

Those saying this is an exhibition fight are wrong. This is a fully sanctioned fight. Would be pretty bold to rig it or script it but who knows.

So Tyson enters the ring, after the intros, gets his gloves cut off and just goes wild.

Heh.
