we had two pitchers in the outfield and sent three to the plate in the 9th with ZERO shot at getting a hit. That means we have very little talent past the guys that regularly start.

You do realize we didn’t have any other options, right? And I don’t mean other options as in better or worse talent, I mean no more warm bodies. They all got thrown out, including bench guys.

tell you how much his teammates loved it. None of them came running to his defense ready to fight… they didn’t look too fired up to me.. so as a leader he sure mis read the room.

I’m not the only one that saw it. There’s been many people on this board who saw it as well. You’ll even see it if you put on your specs And look at the replay. Carter puts out a bent elbow straight into the inside of Long’s inner left knee.
