I'll be following along and posting updates here. If you want to watch, it can be streamed here on YouTube:
Hard not to like and root for David T.He's a stud and gets it. He'll get the OK youth fired up and he's got a ton of energy to unleash.
What are the chances he ends up in Happy Valley in some capacity between the PSU staff or the NLWC? Or is he set on another HC job? While there is no shortage of PSU alumni that could fill in adequately on the PSU/NLWC staff, Coleman is a proven commodity.Hard not to feel bad for the guy.
I watched a few minutes of the press conference, but the entirety of the above “bonus interview”…sounds like he has a good plan…essentially replicating what he has learned from Cael and Co.Maybe I missed it but was there any note of updated plans for the M2 Training Center in State College.? From reading the above David was not as motivated this year after winning gold in the prior Olympics. Saying that not sure anyone else but Aaron Brooks who has been wrestling in top competition regularly and appears to be peaking at an extreme level may have been the only wrestler who would have beat him at the Olympic trials.
David with a recruiting statement. Yes hate to say it but they are the enemy now. They will rise quick"Oklahoma State is a place where every single recruit wants to go to school, and now, we're at the top of the list."
David, all Penn State fans "love" you and wish you a lot of success. However, we also hope that Cael and company make it very hard to achieve what that statement boldly proclaims.
Love for Cael to get Coleman Scott on staff. Jax Forrest and Bo Bassett are very close with him. What are the chances he ends up in Happy Valley in some capacity between the PSU staff or the NLWC? I wish him Godspeed… straight up to #2…and then stay there!David with a recruiting statement. Yes hate to say it but they are the enemy now. They will rise quick
To my understanding that is true… but I believe they are also close with Dave…they would likely feel torn.Love for Cael to get Coleman Scott on staff. Jax Forrest and Bo Bassett are very close with him.
I’m pretty certain they attended M2 as well, so they are probably pretty close with Taylor also.Love for Cael to get Coleman Scott on staff. Jax Forrest and Bo Bassett are very close with him.
Well, he is a PA guy. Maybe that would have at least a little bit of allure.Someone thought it could be a good move to consider asking Coleman Scott to come and interview with the NLWC, but after reading his post about the ox being slow but the earth is patient, I was trying to reconcile from which of the Good Books this came from, perhaps the Apocrypha..? Other than that, he’d fit right in with the current staff at PSU. .
Seriously, I wish he and his family nothing but future success and happiness
Yes they did. Just know that Forrest was leaning toward Okla State because of Coleman Scott. Will just have to see how things play out. It’s gonna be a dog fight with them in a couple years.I’m pretty certain they attended M2 as well, so they are probably pretty close with Taylor also.
No, but logic dictates it going to Mark McKnight.Maybe I missed it but was there any note of updated plans for the M2 Training Center in State College.?
