Is it just me, but it is almost like Taylor is in a no win situation? The expectations are he is going to create another PSU. PSU is a once in a lifetime program. They have the NLWC and Bo's MMA gym. I think the BEST Taylor can do is maintain top 2-4 finish. Ohio state is going to be tough to beat in the coming years. Taylor may pick up some 2nd string PSU guys who don't want to wait to start. I just think the expectations are so high they will be tough to meet.

Going to be fun when he replaces Cael when he retires

Perhaps that happens. Perhaps it doesn’t. There should be plenty of options from the Cael tree when that time comes. From what I hear Kennedy is a really, really good coach and he may be the bigger loss.

Kennedy may be a great coach and a huge loss but his resume as a wrestler means he probably is never going to be the head coach at Penn State or another school that wants to win an NC

His resume as a wrestler is better than Mike Grey and Brian Smith, and similar to Sean Bormet (Bormet was a little better in college, but Kennedy made a world team).

Agreed that the odds are stacked against him, but no more so than for those 3 guys when they were his age. He's young enough to someday lead a program with major expectations if he chooses that path.

I put Penn State above every other program in the country because Cael changed the everything a Penn State
