No, there a lot of crying in basketball…….cause they never learned how to hit a curveballUmmmm.....
1) Equality. 2) It's basketball. 3) Hack a Shaq was a thing. 4) Like Baseball, there's no crying in Basketball.
I wonder if will have any impact on future scheduling.......
I hope notI wonder if will have any impact on future scheduling.......
Good call. All dynasties have a curve. His at UConn is clearly on the decline while Dawns @ USC is clearly on the rise (and that's scary frankly) (but in a good way) ....Well, he quit playing Tennessee when Pat Summit challenged him.
I would bet that the series ends effective today.
She'll hide from the schedule if there is a fake accusation of another team's fans making racist comments and never admit she was wrong. Her comment regarding "getting their heads beat in", all those years earlier and not complaining or saying anything is spot on ... now that the Lady G's are THE program in the country, it is easy to make these accusations ... her comment about the bruises of our girls and Boston being constantly tripled team is spot on ... while I differ quite a bit with social stances that DS appears to take, I agree with her 100% on her comments and love how she does not hide ... from the press, others, or the schedule ... we have the best Women's coach in America ... and the best Women's program in America ... life is good - Peace!
While I did not like how that played out, I do not consider that "hiding" ... the days of allowing the truth to come out vs. playing the "woke" card are long gone ... as I noted, I likely do not agree with her on social issues, but she can coach and she will not hide from playing anyone ... she is not scared and she is likely one of the best coaches and recruiters in the country ... not often you find one who is both ...She'll hide from the schedule if there is a fake accusation of another team's fans making racist comments and never admit she was wrong.
Two of the foul calls on Kardosa were egregious ... many of the fouls at the end were the refs blowing their whistle due to the environment and time of the game ... very likely not called earlier in the game ... if they play in the tourney, it will not be in CT, either ...I didn't see his actions during the game, but I think his statements after are just coaching strategy. His team lost by 4 points, proving they are still an elite team. They will likely be a #1 seed and there's a very good chance these teams will face each other again in the Final Four. If he can plant the seed in officials' minds that the Gamecocks foul a lot, it might be just the edge he needs in a close physical game in the Final Four.
Not sure, but there is no doubt DS would have the team prepared to play without her and I would still say we would have an excellent shot, especially with Raven looking so strong at the point and Kardosa quickly bordering on the "elite" status ...His #1 player did not play. Would we beat them without Boston ?
