Nashville, Tenn. - The Major League Baseball Draft came to an end Wednesday afternoon with one more Commodores' name being called to bring the total to a Southeastern Conference record 12 players.
Joe Loftus was picked in the 46th round (1384 overall) to push the Dores past the previous SEC record of 11 held by Auburn (2010), Ole Miss (2009) and Georgia (2009). The draft started on Monday with Sonny Gray and Grayson Garvin going in the first round.
