Good point, TN. An example:
How about someone who lives in metro Philadelphia and subscribes to Comcast. Since they live outside of the SEC's footprint, they would have to pay extra for SECN. Without SECN access, their option to view our games on SECN(+) is ESPN+.
The only WBB game this season available only via ESPN+ in the SEC footprint was the game
at Cal Poly.
ESPN is the delivery mechanism for the SECN, ACCN, and LHN. This is why you have to go through ESPN to access such contests which are streamed.
Finally, dear posters - if you are unsure which entity is televising/streaming the contest, go to USC's official web page (
www.uscsports.com or
www.gamecocksonline.com) and check the schedule for the sport/contest you are interested in watching. Don't take anybody's word for it (including mine) unless the poster provides a legitimate link.
