We know wrestling is Penn State's best sport. What is our second best sport?

Women's volleyball? It was up there with Russ Rose. Men's volleyball this year? Men's hockey?

It used to be fencing under Kaidanov years ago. It's not basketball.

What is Penn State's second best sport currently?

Womens rugby. 12 times national champs. But not since 2017.

We are only elite in wrestling. Not long ago we could say the same about fencing and womens volleyball. Football is our 2nd best sport.

Lets be honest, no one is "elite" in fencing (there are only a handful of legit athletics programs that even sponsor the sport). It is like being "elite" in synchronized swimming (I do think that is an NCAA sport, but not 100% sure)

On the other hand, Women's Soccer has been consistently top notch in a competitive sport.

I will disagree on fencing. There are 29 teams at the NCAA Division 1 level. Mens volleyball, for example, has only 26. Regardless of numbers, it is a sport with NCAA team championships and, at one time, we won 12 in 20 years. I would call that elite.
Penn State has a very good "BigTen" womens soccer program but has only 1 NCAA Championship (2015) in its history.

Die Handballprofis des Bundesligisten MT Melsungen absolvierten ein außergewöhnliches Fitnessprogramm, in which they balanced on surfboard-like platforms in a swimming pool, as opposed to working out at the gym. The challenge on the schedule included a leap into the water.visit here

Although the senior team may be having trouble, Hajduk juniors' admission into the youth Champions League delighted the supporters and gave them renewed faith in the club's future. A quiz made by the club is a fun method to engage younger players and generate anticipation for the future.visit here

We were elite in doing case studies at the 'Skeller back in the day. I believe the record was 945 cases, but someone can correct me if I'm wrong on that.
