for Michigan to beat OSU.

Latest projection has OSU #5 which isn't a surprise. The problem is that after yesterday's upsets they are not only projected to play #12 Boise State in the first round. They are then projected to play Iowa State in the 2nd round. That seems like an awfully easy path.

PSU is projected to play Tennessee then Miami.

Both of those paths are very doable to get to the semi finals.

OSU has some serious revenge on their mind and connor stallions isn't there to stop it.

Ps. I didn't realize osu had beaten Michigan 17 of 19 times before the um recent streak.

Boise State is currently getting the 4th seed as the fourth highest rated conference winner. They would earn the bye as the Big 12 winner is ranked below Boise. We also do not want to play in the Big 10 championship. We want the extra time off to get healthy and host a playoff game.

From a strategy standpoint I’m kind of torn here, but let’s just say I won’t be upset if the Buckeyes humiliate them.

I would rather that path than effectively playing number 1 in the first round with no bye. Of course if they win that they’ll get a bye, but if they lose they are at the bottom of the bracket with no bye and that would be brutal. I kind of like where they are with a week off after Maryland. Besides, after Oregon/OSU loses they will probably bump up 1 slot and take what is now Ohio States’s path anyway. I could be missing something, but this is what I’m thinking at the moment.

The selectors will have the BIG beat each other, . PSU will play Indiana in round one which would feel like a wet blanket. Winner plays Oregon/tOSU.

Need? Nah, some might prefer it but, if this team is as good as many of us would like, they should be able to stand up to any team anywhere. If they can't, then it doesn't really matter what happens outside their sphere of influence.

I’m betting on the meteor.
Well, that would open the door to a 3 loss SEC team.

Ugh, but at least Indiana and Oregon would not be rematches. Would be interesting to see what PSU could do against tOSU on a neutral field with neutral referees. What would be the over/under for defensive pass interference calls on Penn State's first drive? Or offensive holding calls on tOSU's first drive?

I'll make a prediction...many PSU fans will complain that this set of referees is also biased and wants OSU to win (not to mention how much the announcers will hate us).
