I thought it was funny last night when Aikman said that the best thing Jones does is run the ball. He isn’t wrong, but I don’t think that’s what the Giants had in mind when they signed that contract.
Right now? They've stunk for at least the last 5 years. They've totally destroyed my fandom with their incompetence. And I'm not even reactionary.
How do you think any Browns player from the past 30 years feel?
I'll stop I know the more I complain the more it looks like I care. Believe me, I am trying really hard to not care because I don't think they're close to rock bottom yet.

The Stillers are a family. They don’t make knee-jerk decisions to fire people. I’m sure Tomlin, Canada, pickett, and the rest of the Stillers family will right the ship in the next 5-7 years.
I really don’t think Pickett works out. He doesn’t have any very good to elite ability. He’s merely average in most areas and it’s very tough to be a starting NFL QB when that’s the case.
Maybe he’s a Ryan Tannehill type but is that what Steelers fans want for the next 7-10 years?
He is a very good and capable backup. Nothing wrong with that at all and he will be needed. BUT he is not a starting QB or worth the draft pick they used on him.
But I also don't think he's the biggest issue on the Steelers. He's about 4th or 5th on my list...
Biggest issues IMO are:
1.) Tomlin (I like him but he is living off past results) his coaching hires have been busts. Which leads into #r's 2 and 3.
2.) Matt Canada, OC and this is not hindsight. I thought he was a very poor choice when hired. He had 1 decent year with Pitt when he had Connor on Offense and Donald (on defense).
3.) Teryl Austin, DC. Canada and the Offense get a lot of flak (rightfully so) but the Defense is bad.
4.) Pat Meye,r OL Coach. Ughhh. This is where I don't put all of it on Pickett or Harris. The OL is just putrid.
5.) Kenny P.
I have the same thoughts and priorities. While I have not called for anyone's firing here, I strongly disapprove of the retention of certain individuals during the offseason evaluation process.
I have no faith in any of the coaches at this time due to their repeated mistakes and missteps and lack of results. I am aware that none of them will be relieved of their duties until January at the earliest.
Here's a though, maybe managers should just learn the phrase "no comment" instead of doing their best Rex Ryan impression all the time.
