Friday (11/15) is the birthday of Anni-Frid Lyngstad. She was a founding member of ABBA. She more commonly went by the name of Frida. To celebrate, one of the few hit songs for the group where she was the lead singer:

Listening to UPENN radio today a young black student dj played an ABBA song and went out “that was A B B A”, spelling it out. At that moment I felt every one of my 61 years

Get The Led Out is playing in State College tonight. If I was anywhere near the State Theater, this would be a must see!

@Grant Green got to check King Gizzard last night. What a journey that was. Heavy Metal, Classic Rock, Psychedelic, and a 15 minute electronic Rave. They are entertaining for sure, good time.

Right on! Yeah, they are all over the place, but man do they bring it. I'm not as crazy about the metal stuff, but it certainly is high quality. I see they played ONE, Straws in the Wind, and Magma - three of my favorites. F'ing Magma is insane.
I love that they livestream everything. Playing your show right now while I work.

I feel like a loser for not going. They're not going to play any closer to me any time soon. This tour is off the chain and they have released every show so far from the soundboard. They are getting better as the tour goes on. Listened to the Gorge last night.

I'm sure they will be back. Such a great idea to stream and save shows on youtube. And such great quality.
Yeah, that Gorge show was great. Speaking of Magma, that may have been the best version ever. I was an idiot and went in way too late. I underestimated how many people would be there and was in the way back. It's a really great scene.

Here's a fun link for you, straight from the tap. This is all going on my media server. All the recent west coast stops have multitrack stems so you can remix or make a surround sound mix if you want.

It's outrageous that they put out the individual tracks for remixing. I had already downloaded the Gorge show, but didn't see the Stem folder. Crazy.
