Sunday (11/17) was the birthday of the late, great, Harold Eugene Clark. He was more commonly known by his stage name, Gene Clark. He was a founding member, and the principal songwriter, of the Byrds. He initially played rhythm guitar in the band, but switched to tambourine and harmonica when David Crosby joined the group.
