Craziest ending to a game that I've seen in a while.
You can just watch the last 3 or so minutes. Talk about a roller coaster.

With a miracle play the WV QB wins the game for them and them promptly gives it back. Dope.
WVU took the lead on a 50 yard TD on 4th and 10 with 12 seconds left. WVU QB got an excessive celebration penalty so they had to kick off from the 20. UH took the KO back to about the 40 with 7 seconds left, completed about a 10 yard out and then won on a Hail Mary in the EZ that WVU had a chance to knock down.Could you explain…..thanks!

I don't pay attention to the announcers.the announcers clearly wanted Houston to win that one. They were sad when WV scored and jubilant at the end.
There are announcers?I don't pay attention to the announcers.
Yep, he cost his team that game. Even worse was after he got the penalty he came over to the bench and was waving bye bye to the Houston fans. I don't think I would allow him to practice and he would be there running for the entire length of practice. QB's are supposed to be leaders and held to a higher standard....bonehead.WVU took the lead on a 50 yard TD on 4th and 10 with 12 seconds left. Can you get a penalty after the game? I get it that Sanders family lives in your head rent free. So much so you brought them up here for no real reason at all. You're the same type of person who will complain they get too much coverage but then bring them up for no reason at all.....the irony so lost on you.He shouldn’t do the childish stuff during game time, rather, do it during pre or post game. You know, flash a Rolex in front of your opponent or the opposing fans.

That was bad defense all the way around BUT it also shows that these "look at me" demonstrations that result in Personal Foul penalties lose games. I'm not sure what the WVU QB did, I didn't see it, but it cost his team a win and possibly the coaches job. Just stupid.Craziest ending to a game that I've seen in a while.

I didn't think Tim Brando was very good.the announcers clearly wanted Houston to win that one. They were sad when WV scored and jubilant at the end.
Greene seems like sort of a d*#k. Earlier he slammed the phone down after it looked like he was yelling at the coach in the booth and also he blew off the staff girl with water, she had to chase after him to give him the bottle. She’s probably under orders to make the players drink to stay hydrated.Yep, he cost his team that game. Did you see what Green (WVU QB) did? I didn't and I don't think they showed it.WVU took the lead on a 50 yard TD on 4th and 10 with 12 seconds left. Oh dear, get a grip. Honestly sorry the Sanders have impacted your life in such a way you obsess over them. The subject of the thread was about the crazy ending of the WVa game.....you're the only person that equated it to the Sanders somehow. You can do your mental gymnastics to try and tie to them somehow, but it's moronic. Starting to think it's more than their attitude with you...as you really have a hard on for them.I thought the subject was acting immature. Clearly it is better to do the childish stuff before or after the game than it is during the game. Of course, you gotta get a lucrative watch deal because you don't want to taunt your Rolex for free. You gotta work with your pop and capitalize.
It also helps if you take sacks rather than throw the ball away to pad your stats. The hell with helping the team, there is NIL money to get.
Do you not understand this era of college football?
I really want to see what he did. Because it better have been bad for them to call that penalty when they did.Yep, he cost his team that game. Even worse was after he got the penalty he came over to the bench and was waving bye bye to the Houston fans. I don't think I would allow him to practice and he would be there running for the entire length of practice. QB's are supposed to be leaders and held to a higher standard....bonehead.
Johnson did not get a flag for that, although I was waiting for it.I cannot stand showboating any more. It just looks foolish now. It's tired...overdone. I grew up in the era of Billy "White Shoes" Johnson and didn't like it much then. I get it, get off my lawn. The problem I have with it today is the example of this game. You never know when it's going to come back and bite you and I always wait for flag against us. Who was the last player to get flagged for shushing the home crowd? I swear is it was Juwan Johnson after the IA win in '17.
I believe Brown referenced Green pulling his helmet off which in his defense was probably just pure emotion, but it's still a flag. At least Green owned up to it, but man that was a costly penalty.I really want to see what he did. Because it better have been bad for them to call that penalty when they did.
JMO but I never felt taking your helmet off was that big a deal, so what people can see your face big whoop. But EVERYONE knows its a penalty and there really isn't much gray area involved.I believe Brown referenced Green pulling his helmet off which in his defense was probably just pure emotion, but it's still a flag. In this case I wasn't upset with either announcer and usually like Spencer Tillman but Brando was all over the place last night. Meaning less drivel (yea they all do that) but he often times had downs and distances wrong. Not his best effort.I really don't understand why some people get upset with announcers and accuse them of having favorites. I don't pay attention to the announcers. Their chatter is just background noise to me. Much of the time announcers don't see the game as well as I do. After all, they are watching the games on a TV monitor about a quarter the size of my TV.
just watched the end. The two TD calls sounded almost exactly the same to me.the announcers clearly wanted Houston to win that one. They were sad when WV scored and jubilant at the end.
We were flagged on that play for unsportsmanlike conduct. Watch the very last play, we line up for the extra point from the 17 with no time on the clock. Trace takes the snap and punts the ball. I cannot find video that shows the ref make the call, but we were definitely flagged. I suppose it's possible that it was not for the shush. I don't recall ever getting an explanation.Johnson did not get a flag for that, although I was waiting for it.
The last one I remember was was against Syracuse in the 2000's and I think it was a RB maybe Stephon Green.
I watched live. Perhaps I was wrong but it felt that way.just watched the end. The two TD calls sounded almost exactly the same to me.

I do believe JJ was flagged for the "shhh" gesture against Iowa. The XP attempt was made from the 18 yard line, where Trace just took a knee ... and then punted the ball. I still remember that official putting his fingers to his lips telling the ref wht the flag was for.Johnson did not get a flag for that, although I was waiting for it.

However, my memory could very well be playing me.
